IMPORTANT INFORMATION & RETREAT CHECKLIST

Welcome friends! This is going to be an exciting weekend… and we know for many of you, a first time experiencing “glamping”. This info sheet will help you plan for what to expect… and know that part of the thrill is the UNEXPECTED! We invite you to welcome the opportunity of engaging with the gorgeous forest and hiking trails, the retreat participants, and seeing things from a new perspective through yoga with Jen Lo and a break from daily life.

COVID PROTOCOL

In an effort to provide peace of mind to everybody participating in this retreat, we require each participant to self administer a rapid test upon arrival. PLEASE BRING AN UNOPENED TEST WITH YOU. In the event you're unable to, we will have some available at cost. During the time leading up to the retreat, we appreciate your efforts to isolate as much as possible. Thank you for understanding.

WAIVER & RELEASE FORM

Please review and sign the release form emailed to you by October 1, 2022.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

  • Take 101 North, exit in Cloverdale on the 128 West/North. This section is curvy and beautiful; give yourself some cushion to enjoy this at a comfortable pace. You will drive through the town of Boonville, then through Philo.

  • Turn left on Philo Greenwood Road and pass the Apple Farm, cross a bridge above the Navarro River and pass Hendy Woods.

  • Take this all the way up the hill until the first street where you can turn left–This is Signal Ridge Road. Go about 1-2 miles, as you head uphill on your left will be a tree with reflectors, lots of street numbers and a sign that says Good Kirkham Space Between Retreat.

  • Turn left into this dirt driveway. Follow the dirt driveway. DO NOT GO RIGHT up the steep hill. You will pass a gray house. Go straight into the gate, marked with Welcome Signs and Parking sign. (do not veer right into the continuing driveway which takes you to our formal gate and entrance)

  • Google maps: 7035 Signal Ridge Road, Philo, Ca 95466 works up to Signal Ridge Road… but then you should follow the detailed directions above.

  • DIRECTIONS WITH PICTURES

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

For Friday arrivals, departing after 1 pm can take 3-3 1/2 hours from San Francisco and departing before noon can save you an hour on the road. We recommend taking time to drive at a leisurely pace if possible. Good places to stop? Check out Healdsburg square- lots of great cafes and other places. Plank Coffee in Cloverdale is delish but closes at 1 pm. Disco Ranch or Wickson are excellent stops in Boonville and Philo for light lunch en route.

GETTING YOUR BEARINGS…

We have 200 acres accessible at the end of a mile long dirt driveway (details below). For parking, we are using the gate to the Fig Tree Farm side of our property. It is less than a football field distance from parking to the Tents, Airstream, Burner RV and Cabin and about three football fields distance to the Water Tower rooms and Pool house. We can assist with luggage for anyone that needs it.

  • Fig Tree Farm Property- this is the side of the property where the parking is located, the cabin, sauna, airstream, tents, burner rv, bathhouse, barn and wood shop are also located here. There are hammocks, tables and some fun lawn games.

  • The Yurt property is the side of the property where the host’s yurt, pool, hot tub, pool house, water tower, bathhouse, vegetable garden and basketball court are located.

  • There are hammocks, lounge furniture as well as lawn games here. And meals will be centered around the pool house.

The Yoga Deck is in the “space between” the Fig Tree Farm Property and Yurt Property.

BATHROOM & BATHHOUSE SITUATION

There are three bathrooms on the Fig Tree Farm Property- a bathhouse with two Japanese toilets and two separate getting ready/shower areas and the cabin bathroom which is attached to the cabin with exterior access. Each of the airstream and burner rv also have their own bathrooms.

There are three bathrooms on the Yurt property - a bathhouse with two Japanese toilets and two separate getting ready/shower areas and the pool house bathroom. The pool house bathroom is for the pool house resident’s shower needs and for the kitchen staff when preparing meals.

Note that we will be sharing the bathrooms, so we ask that you do your best to attend to tidiness and clean and add new TP where necessary. If you see something that needs attention, please let Samantha & Christopher or their team know.
